Durable Power of Attorney
A valid Power of Attorney will allow someone who select, an Agent, to be legally allowed to handle your financial affairs on your behalf. Our Durable Power of Attorneys remain valid even if you are to be become incapacitated or unable to make decision (ex. if you were to go into a coma). Your Agent will be allowed to take such actions as file your taxes, hire consultants or attorneys on your behalf, sell, rent, or encumber your real estate, sign legal documents on your behalf, and access any safety deposit boxes you may have. We recommend contacting us for a full list of the powers included in our Durable Power of Attorney prior to ordering. We would be happy to go over these powers in person or over the phone. It is imperative that you select someone you find trustworthy to be appointed your Agent.
